HigherEd Hub Finland Oy is a service company owned by Finnish higher education institutions, enabling pioneering and secure digital services for our universities. The company’s first responsibility is operating the digital service for continuous learning, Opin.fi. The development of the service is led by the Digivisio 2030 project.

The company’s mission is to ensure strong expertise in IT governance and service production so that digital services scale in a timely and cost-efficient manner. HigherEd Hub Finland provides a platform that enables higher education institutions to succeed with their own content. The services operated by the company are part of the development of Finnish expertise.

Digivisio 2030 Project
In the future, our society will require increasingly diverse competencies. In the Digivisio 2030 project, Finnish higher education institutions are jointly building a future-compatible and sustainable learning ecosystem, where each of us can more easily and flexibly learn and develop our skills to meet the needs of a changing world.

As part of the project, higher education institutions are building the shared Opin.fi service. The goal of this new digital service is to bring together continuous learning opportunities offered by Finnish higher education institutions.
